Bonding Day with Freshies!

As stated above, we may organise a BBQ (with some games) after the sch starts. So what does everyone thinks about the idea?! feel free to give suggestions

Just a suggestion.

You all want a stayover ah? Or just a full day like 10 to 6? Like that we can first do icebreaking activites those standard stuffs, of course must tennis a little hehe. Or if don't want tennis then we play by ourselves after 6 till lights out. Can do like amazing race sort of thing, then group pple up, 1 comm member per grp or something. Aiyo actually I don't know what i'm talking about. My brain malfunctioning this holiday.

It all depends on the amount of freshies that'll join anyways. And to make it to a camp sort of thing is going to be a bit tedious since we still have tonnes of other things to do. And noooo! Who plays tennis during bonding camp?!

But yeah we could still try, remember though..... the money's coming from us!

i dun think a camp is such good idea so early. Also there is a budget we have to keep to rember! Our funds are lesser than a buskler's 5 hr earning at orchard road! So keep it simple and do a bbq 1st la then we move on to bigger stuff. AND WHO THE HELL WANNA PLAY TENNIS DURING A CAMP?! do something else la

so 1 day camp thing? i'll go for that. like Walt said we should start with sth small, wait till we got enough money do sth bigger.

haha. camp will come in the near future, maybe. so we'll start with BBQ first!?
and we'll go buy the food tgt someday!!
as for activity, the "ultimate tennis" strike my mind! hahaha.

i have an idea!

use the student hostel, the bbq pits! after all, its near the tennis courts too!!!!
then ppl can play tennis or smthg before we proceed with the BBQ!

i think airu's idea is good.. i support! haha

Yeah we were planning to use those pits, I mean if anyone else's got a batter location.

Now the thing is, What kind of activies do we carry out during the bbq? Or is it going to be another sit, eat and chat session?

Haha okays thanks Norman, we'll let you know more about the bonding day as soon as we clarify everything.

And about the time and date of the event itself , we're not too sure since we need at least one full day to purchase the food and marinate them before the bbq itself.

Hmmm will the bbq be held before or after some freshies "run away" for the standard reason?
